The farming of Small Eggs at the time of Winter Veil in Azeroth in a great way to make gold for players in their early levels. But where do you farm Small Eggs after the Cataclysm?
It’s that time again when the Feast of Winter Veil marks the beginning of the holiday season – at least in Azeroth – and Grandfather Winter is abroad, spreading holiday cheer to one and all. There’s ale to drink, candy canes to eat and cookies to bake.
I love the smell of Eggnog in the morning!
For new players in their early levels (10 – 20) this is a great time to make some easy wow gold and provides a good example of how to exploit the increased demand for a product, created by a world event such as Winter Veil. For those in the know the official site provides us with a few clues:
‘Twas the feast of Great-Winter
And all through the land
All the races were running
With snowballs in hand.
The cooks were all frantic
And for those “in the know”
Swoops and owls were crashing
Like new-fallen snow.
Cookies and eggnog
Were consumed by all
As the snowballs flew freely
And drunks smashed into walls.
May your feast of Great-Winter
Be one merry and bright
And from all here at Blizzard
We wish you a fun night!’
Players go mad cooking up batches of Gingerbread Cookies and Eggnog at this time to complete various quests, all of which require basket-loads of Small Eggs.
And the beasts to farm for Small Eggs are Greater Fleshripper, Moonkin, Swoops, Hippogryph and Dragonhawks to name a few.
If you are an Alliance player here’s a tip. One of the best places to farm small eggs is on the Longshore, Westfall. About half way along the shore you’ll find a fish carcass with a mob of Greater Fleshrippers. This mob has a ridiculous spawn rate which will allow you farm a stack of eggs in double quick time.
If you are Horde, you might like to try the Dragonhawks of Eversong Woods. They have 100% drop rate of eggs and are a low level beast.
Now, here’s the thing. Small Eggs on my server are selling for 4g per egg! Crazy, crazy stuff. So what are you waiting for? Go farm some eggs.
